Emma's quilt

I made this quilt in memory of my grandmother Emma. The quilt top has been finished for months but this morning I finally found the time to free motion quilt it:

I did an all over meandering pattern but I didn't quilt it too densely as I want it to be soft not stiff.

I made this quilt as part of the Quilting Gallery Aiming for Accuracy Quilt-a-long, the pattern was designed by Michele Foster. I used scraps for this project, even the white sashing and backing is an old cotton sheet.

I am really happy with how this turned out, but most of all I am just glad it is finished LOL it has been a work in progress and then unfinished object for FAR too long!

I still have to make the cushion cover to match. I already made the block I just need to make it into a quilted cushion cover :)
