Orphan Block Odyssey 2018
Have you got orphan quilt blocks in your sewing space. You know blocks made long ago that never became part of a quilt. This year I am using mine up! All of them!

These are some past orphan block projects to show that it doesn't have to be complicated!!! Feel free to link up past blog posts of orphan block projects too, it'll all about the inspiration.
January - My orphan block was this scrappy blues 24 patch made a few years ago using 6 four patches it is became the center-piece of a charity quilt
February - This scrappy 7.25" paper pieced heart! This became a charity quilt that was completed and gifted in July 2018
March - This paper pieced castle became a bay quilt gift for a co-worker
April - These hand pieced hexie flowers appliqued to a white 9.5" square became a charity quilt!
May - This pink and purple pinwheel block went into a charity quilt top
June - These scrappy hand pieced hexagons - also a charity quilt top!
August - a pattern test block from my Treasured Adventures quilt book became a charity quilt :)
September - a leftover four patch from my Christmas eye spy quilt became a charity quilt top
October - two quilts quilted that I made earlier in the year with orphan improv pieced 12" squares
November - FPP pattern printed too large and used as a quilt back
