If you can't keep up with the monthly BOM simple blocks that take only a few minutes to make, you will not keep up when the complex blocks that can take hours are released. </div><div><div style="text-align: justify;">Remember: those not sewing along and sharing progress will be removed from the Facebook group regularly. The last BOM started with about 80 people and ended with about 30 two years later. I like a smaller group of committed sewists so that the vibe in the group is participatory and there are no lurkers. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz-HvyMpUFxdf-srO4pkoBeMGOVkFhNQn442nXWOBVofKEOSVXGCnRedMFN8aS-ZMQbiwDYD10Y-vhNrbrh6PHOElgx9odhrHXCVQLHFt3isiT9EKwZIdXdsBxjHRAZL-8jEVp5G-sAmiKWJ56KQ_raGFNhk6Ur65tO7KVjht-bV-KOTP0BnkxVwFHXynR/s640/BOM%202024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="640" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiz-HvyMpUFxdf-srO4pkoBeMGOVkFhNQn442nXWOBVofKEOSVXGCnRedMFN8aS-ZMQbiwDYD10Y-vhNrbrh6PHOElgx9odhrHXCVQLHFt3isiT9EKwZIdXdsBxjHRAZL-8jEVp5G-sAmiKWJ56KQ_raGFNhk6Ur65tO7KVjht-bV-KOTP0BnkxVwFHXynR/w640-h640/BOM%202024.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div></div>Adventurous Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09276453838538795301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5418611697770087103.post-24949071170760502682024-01-10T17:46:00.003-07:002024-01-10T17:46:39.384-07:00Eye Spy Adventures BOM<p>I pattern tested the first pattern for my Eye Spy Adventures BOM this morning so, it's ready for release Monday! </p><p>HERE'S MY PALETTE!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirdj8YV2NQ344PZosADY_qwhtnTPp_TJEk4TT4FV1iiP_pQY0Ul-b1NCDXwJt7c3in2EHrix9Jc9m04ix_uHdLkM1tC8uEVQijc4524SqIi6lg62U1ncIcWTTDuHYhOLPGiki4vpCJQf8KO29bqiLtou_pezOSc8VxqMDEo2wIz13KeIr_t3hA1svMz94z/s2612/palette%20eye%20spy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2575" data-original-width="2612" height="630" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirdj8YV2NQ344PZosADY_qwhtnTPp_TJEk4TT4FV1iiP_pQY0Ul-b1NCDXwJt7c3in2EHrix9Jc9m04ix_uHdLkM1tC8uEVQijc4524SqIi6lg62U1ncIcWTTDuHYhOLPGiki4vpCJQf8KO29bqiLtou_pezOSc8VxqMDEo2wIz13KeIr_t3hA1svMz94z/w640-h630/palette%20eye%20spy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN3afLOKFNq8_ywBUtCnOwRt-C3NnuDkpe7S-0h1EYw0i6X7tcQV3IWAm9w84v5BRIcD8iI89iSwFnhhVmifg8iuWYkZ6vlt6zMjSUdBJkcz6LtSOkog1XLv-oBhSiQoJQ5zDYbJ0sFSUWYi4vKoHs9DqTXHf7sZLf5e0rCIG9qTthx-zlKjUNlXEIh3hR/s640/BOM%202024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="640" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN3afLOKFNq8_ywBUtCnOwRt-C3NnuDkpe7S-0h1EYw0i6X7tcQV3IWAm9w84v5BRIcD8iI89iSwFnhhVmifg8iuWYkZ6vlt6zMjSUdBJkcz6LtSOkog1XLv-oBhSiQoJQ5zDYbJ0sFSUWYi4vKoHs9DqTXHf7sZLf5e0rCIG9qTthx-zlKjUNlXEIh3hR/w640-h640/BOM%202024.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p>There's still time to join the BOM... message me via the link in my left sidebar. </p>Adventurous Quilterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09276453838538795301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5418611697770087103.post-70993312114496152752024-01-05T21:37:00.011-07:002024-01-11T21:39:33.639-07:00Quilt Palette Inspiration<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwruDT5LxwtvcrWksReIZeUPy4ZrGsZnzGWsC04kzMqvkD7z9eNaRVpYdL76uuFmrZMQHGrphxFtkGIEnn4AqHwAwlfj3Fow7FOw_wflS6ZOSs-lDT2sqgq5iUmQWOO8cSV2nPnULn-zkS2nRR2kM8_wCS9qNzCisDoa6w9pahU5U9t5OtMmKFypFpVsg6/s1080/AQ%20(2).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwruDT5LxwtvcrWksReIZeUPy4ZrGsZnzGWsC04kzMqvkD7z9eNaRVpYdL76uuFmrZMQHGrphxFtkGIEnn4AqHwAwlfj3Fow7FOw_wflS6ZOSs-lDT2sqgq5iUmQWOO8cSV2nPnULn-zkS2nRR2kM8_wCS9qNzCisDoa6w9pahU5U9t5OtMmKFypFpVsg6/w640-h640/AQ%20(2).jpg" width="640" /></a></div>Sunset in Western Australia inspired this week's palette. They are truly handy skills to have! I'm always mending something or wearing something I have made or adjusted.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Here's an example:</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh88fkyuW7yu4r68OTb4tMBFdydtM_Iiz2Rhj3RHjQmTcaq4KFSqAW11MtzDj8VgIvkyLb-HD7WTHL-f2VfHwrbzQ72GYOM1o2HKPeLFqSU4d5KmMTzVexRxzh1cqXZo8gcIdQL__hCw-TNuDOpY3eHa3U2jTzBOPTUT0wVNyCsa6Na7rp3qZJy8k9EGJCu/s1080/20240102_174358_0000.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh88fkyuW7yu4r68OTb4tMBFdydtM_Iiz2Rhj3RHjQmTcaq4KFSqAW11MtzDj8VgIvkyLb-HD7WTHL-f2VfHwrbzQ72GYOM1o2HKPeLFqSU4d5KmMTzVexRxzh1cqXZo8gcIdQL__hCw-TNuDOpY3eHa3U2jTzBOPTUT0wVNyCsa6Na7rp3qZJy8k9EGJCu/w640-h640/20240102_174358_0000.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The first time I harvested chamois padding from cycling shorts and sewed it into my favourite gym pants was 6 or 7 years ago. This week I decided the chamois padding was worn out so I unpicked the stitching and removed it then added the new cycling chamois padding harvested from extra small cycling shorts. I've got three pairs of these gym pants that I originally bought from Cosco which I've done this to, they are a great fit and length.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRhN0fp5EPILdcdpYATRWJhnfctIN3EjB5oiUdZK-FV99eS2uLd7WmqhvobWOrmWN6ycEnnqMmYOmbGML_g74SchN3Ypk5my8FpmkciuBckNJi9_8lg6uPYiaukMqKCQMji-9aWyt02VAu4cQbrFuFB7fib_X6kIc4WsipPwF1gB_4pKUwJQHlPNmItrtX/s4032/received_299266093109239.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRhN0fp5EPILdcdpYATRWJhnfctIN3EjB5oiUdZK-FV99eS2uLd7WmqhvobWOrmWN6ycEnnqMmYOmbGML_g74SchN3Ypk5my8FpmkciuBckNJi9_8lg6uPYiaukMqKCQMji-9aWyt02VAu4cQbrFuFB7fib_X6kIc4WsipPwF1gB_4pKUwJQHlPNmItrtX/w480-h640/received_299266093109239.jpeg" width="480" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The sleeveless blouses are fantastic in summer whether cycling or not.
