Organic Denim!!

It's a gloomy day outside in Colorado; still below freezing here at lunchtime! So I decided it was the perfect day to sew a fall skirt using Harmony Art Organic Design 

DENIM! Yes that's right it's #organicdenim 

This simple skirt is below knee length with an elastic waist and a split up the back seam for ease of movement when wearing the skirt. 

I used a simple undyed cotton sateen as a facing for the elastic waist to minimize bulk at the seams, I did that for the hem too!

Doesn't it look great with my Tommy Hilfiger thrifted corduroy jacket and a simple scarf! I can't wait to wear this.
