and I am planning on making a large lap quilt with several of these blocks in various colors. But this prototype block is slightly different to the final pattern so I decided not to include it in the large quilt but to make a mini quilt with just this block. So I've added a section and begun to embellish it with embroidery and buttons:
I've got to go to Joann and get some jingly buttons to add in the spaces I have left before I begin to add a simple border and quilt it. I am planning on hanging this quilt on my sewing room wall.
