I recovered my ironing bench today!
The old cupcake fabric was so starchy it was crazy! I'll wash it and hopefully it'll be okay to make a couple of reusable shopping bags.
I also vacuumed the studio and tidied up my sewing desk that had been slowly accumulating mess, it'll be refreshing to be able to find my thread snips when I want them 🤣😜😂
I also made two scrappy QAYG strip blocks:
And with the help of Jeri and Rose two Green Bag Lady Project Parker chapter volunteers, prepped all these bags for sewing and sewed about a dozen.
I even found time for a walk later in the day! It almost felt like I had achieved balance in my life today 😮🤔 the feeling of being organized is fabulous.
