My mermaid 🧜🌊 quilt is finished!

It was really hard to get good photos in the harsh summer sun with that black Kona background!

I love the variegated thread I used to free motion quilt the outer border 👌💗

And the perle cotton variegated thread I used to embellish some of the negative space.

I'm so pleased with how this turned out 🤩

The mermaid block will be in one of my upcoming book releases called Mystical Adventures.
