I finished this delightful quilt recently. So this morning I went on a quilt photography expedition.
Most of this quilt uses foundation paper pieced components from my Daybreak at the Barn quilt book - due for release next month.
But I am making four variations of this quilt and I wanted each of them to be different, so the outer simple border and the corral fencing border are different to the pattern in the book but I'm really happy with how this turned out.
The backing is a delightful gingham in pale blue and off white. I'm not sure why I've never used gingham or plaid as quilt backs before until this year, I adore it!
The historic barn I used for the backdrop is in our neighborhood 👌❤️
