Scraps and Decluttering

My scrappy tumblers are starting to build up so I thought I'd piece a scrappy donation quilt a week for now to use up scraps and I also had a buildup of leftover batting scraps so yesterday I pieced them into useable size pieces:

Then I pieced a tumbler quilt with all the black background scrappy tumblers:

 The batting piece I used for that has three pieces of batting joined together with a zig zag stitch! It's great to clear some clutter of scrappy leftovers!

And it was cool enough early yesterday afternoon to get it basted! There's lots of fun prints in this quilt:
