Scrappy Math

I've made two scrap quilts in two weeks to demolish  my hoard of 3" squares. When I finished yesterday I decided to calculate how many squares I've used so far.

Which means the total so far is:

And I've started a third quilt! Not a wonder that stash of 3" squares made it to the top of my to-do list! I'm pretty sure the third quilt will be the last one I make from these scraps. 

The leftover 3" squares I'll use to make a large scrappy tote bag for grocery shopping.
