Dog Coats

Today I made new Christmas themed dog coats for our two grand dogs.

I picked up these cute fat quarters at Walmart recently thinking I would make Christmas masks. 

But then when our son dropped the dogs off for the weekend this morning I decided it was great timing for their pre-winter grooming:

Which made me think of using these fat quarters for new dog coats! 

I love that teal bauble fabric on Roxy! 

And Leo's vintage pickup truck tree hunting fabric is just so perfect for him!

For these simple one feature fabric coats I don't even quilt the layers together, so these are really quick to make!
