Scrappy Play

For me a lot of sewing happens in between bigger projects. This week I made a scrappy large patchwork tote bag for grocery shopping. It's a great way to use up scraps leftover from prior projects. This project decluttered 140 scrappy brown and beige tumblers. 
2022 will be another epic year of decluttering my sewing space by using up scraps and finishing UFOs. We are planning an international move in 2023 so I'm keen to cull some of my hoarded projects and scraps before the move by making quilts for donation, gifts etc. 
I'm also planning to make some fabric bundles such as layers cakes, charm packs etc to give as prizes at quilt guild presentations this year.
