I spent some time this week making scrappy bindings. This 8" high pile of scraps received in a batch of scraps gifted to me recently needed cutting to 2.25" wide:

So that was the first step! This created a whole Dollar Tree basket full of strips!

I also had a whole Dollar Tree basket of 2.25" strips set aside from my own personal scrap hoard that needed sewing and pressing into bindings. 

So I ended up with about 5 to 10 scrap quilts worth of scrappy binding to add to my prepared bindings stash.
