In my current project I'm foundation piecing the scraps onto strips of paper 3" x 8.5" to make scrappy bricks.
I've been doing this style of piecing since about 2013 and still love the process and outcome! I still have the first scrappy improv quilt I ever made, check out out here:

It's quite popular actually when I do trunk shows! People love these ultra scrappy quilts!
I'm not sure what the layout of the current project will be but I'm enjoying piecing the blocks to demolish all the random scraps in my studio.
