As I worked on foundation piecing orange scrap blocks recently, I was fine tuning my use of this terrific new space in which I've created my sewing studio. At the same time I was also figuring out how the new cordless iron works, because I couldn't find the manual (I've now downloaded the digital manual). On top of all that I'm adjusting to sewing with shoes on because I have some tendon damage in my left foot that makes being bare foot all day too painful, my foot does so much better at the end of the day when it's supported well in a shoe all day. If you are a barefoot sewist you'll know that transition feels weird!
So space, equipment and sewing technique are all being slightly adjusted!
But I'm still enjoying the process and creating colorful FPP improv blocks! I ended up with 35 orange blocks!Stay tuned to see what color is next.
