I'm down to the last 300 or so 3" squares from thousands that I've been sewing into quilts the last couple of years. I just want these used up now instead of junking up my studio! So I decided to make two scrappy kennel pads for our dogs. Today I finished piecing them and popped outside to spray baste them:
They each feature ten rows of ten squares, so they finish at about 25" square.I also used scrappy binding on these and the backing fabric was from my destash priority pile. They turned out great.
I actually need to make a couple more of these within the next couple of weeks because we are constantly washing our current ones with a six month old puppy in the house, but two is a good start!
