I have 100 scrappy improv low volume blocks on my design wall!
This will be the first quilt top made using blocks from my block stacks:It's nice to start turning these stacks into quilts, but eventually I'll miss the stacks, they are so pretty!Once I had the blocks on the design wall, I couldn't wait to choose a backing fabric that suited the project!
I chose this delightful fabric:
Then I started piecing the rows:
Here's a close up of some rows so you get a better idea of why I call this low-ish volume.
Some of these are bolder prints on white or cream not quite low volume. But standing back and looking at the quilt top it'll all look low-ish volume.
