7 months since repatriating to Australia (after ten years in Colorado) and we are still exploring our area and experiencing "first time" events. This past week I finished some quilts and had to go for a walk in my neighbourhood hunting for a good quilt photography spot.
There is a large bush and wetland reserve at the end of our street that is a lovely lush green at the moment after all our winter rain, so I walked down there to hunt for a good spot to set up my tripod.
It's such a huge place it'll take a while to find a favourite spot, but it's easy to find a nice clearing for a photo. It was nice to finally get a photo of my purple "Large Scraps" quilt that I completed last week.
There's lots of different scraps in this quilt and I love the irregular shaped quilt centre! There's a free pattern PDF for this design available on my download website (link in left sidebar).
And in case you missed it yesterday... I finished my low-ish volume improv scrap quilt too!
