Reflecting on my progess so far this year, I'm over the moon happy with what I've achieved so far in 2023!
Biggest achievement: setting up a new smaller but better sewing studio after our repatriation to Australia in January.
Quilts completed: three
I also made over 700 scrappy improv 6" quilt blocks:
New designs:
- Advent SCRAP-A-LONG 2023 quilt
- drafted a Wonky Scrap Adventures quilt book with 10 quilt designs included (not yet available for sale)
- "Large Scraps" free pattern drafted and available on the website
- I have multiple designs in mind for my scrappy improv blocks, like my rainbow layout shown below
And in amongst all that I got a couple of smaller projects done like scrappy kennel pads and a table runner.
I also prepped several rolls of scrappy bindings!
So considering we only repatriated in late January and my studio set up wasn't done until March, I've achieved heaps in 7 months!
My husband retires later this week, so my creative time will be reduced as we have heaps of outdoor recreation and exploring planned; kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, golfing etc. So things will be slowing down but certainly not stopping I will still be blogging, hosting BOMs, etc.
