Today hubby and I went to a 'Open Studio' event hosted by Ruth Devos!
Her work is amazing, she's been my favourite art quilter ever since my friend Gail bought her to my attention several years ago. And now that we're living back in Perth it wasn't far to go to Mt Nasura, where her home studio is!
I particularly love her quilts featuring native Australia flora!
She had most stages of her process on display which was excellent!

Her home is a fabulous place in the Perth Hills with plenty of her works hung as features.
I'm so pleased I was able to go! It was truly inspiring!
