I'm participating in the Castle Rock Quilt Club UFO Challenge this year.
So I needed this quilt finished by Tuesday evening September 3rd!
I've had a really hectic month so this one came down to the wire, I hate feeling rushed by deadlines so I usually finish things waaay early.
But as usual it's just great to finish another UFO!
This quilt is based on the Spectacular Star block that's available in my Treasured Adventures quilt book. And I just simplified the block to achieve the curved effect at the corners.
The quilt ended up 60" square and I am quite happy with it. I was worried I wouldn't have the right binding fabric but in the end I found a fabulous fun print that's black with orange spots/dots in my stash 👌❤️ Yay for the stash!
