My eldest son arrives from Australia this afternoon and will stay with us through New Year's. So I spent the morning making some welcoming stuff to make the bare, spare bedroom feel more homely for him.
2 pillow cases and a cushion cover
A zip pouch toiletry bag
And a reusable shopping bag to use up the leftover fabric.
Hubby met him in Dallas at lunchtime and they'll fly the last leg to Denver this afternoon, where I'll pick them up.
So the barren room is a little more welcoming now. I even made a scrappy Green Bay lap quilt a few months ago for him so that is on the bed waiting too
Now I just have to wait! ⌚⏲️⏰🕕
