I'm demolishing my hoard of 3" scraps.
Part of my process is sorting the scraps into piles depending on how many pieces of that fabric I have to work with.
The biggest number I need for this design is 16 pieces so I sort into piles of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12 and 16+.
Most are the same print but sometimes I use the same color and different print to get the number I need for the next 'round'.
This process makes it so fast to lay out the block prior to piecing.
I think I'll have enough scraps for 2 quilts 60+ inches square.
