Cutting Station Setup

Last week I shared about hubby and I making my new cutting table with Ikea Mittback legs and a solid timber tabletop from Bunning hardware store. Since then it has been covered in mess and I have had an awful head cold. But yesterday & today I got back in the studio and began to make some headway again.

Goal - Cutting Station Wall Decor

So I have created a twine clothesline under my wall shelves and hung a few wall quilts:

Then I placed copies of almost all the quilt pattern books I have authored on the book display shelves:

There's a little space to add extras when I find or order copies of the missing books.

Hubby hung my thread holders last week on that wall to the right so it finally started to feel like a sewing studio! There's still a lot of mess and things in temporary places because we are having flooring replaced in two other rooms next week, but once that is done I can get more organized and finalize the setup.
