2020 was characterized as a year of crisis - COVID 19 created chaos globally!
In an effort to help the community, I challenged myself to make 1000 face masks using fabric from my personal fabric stash.
Every set of fifty+ masks donated was placed in a Green Bag Lady free reusable shopping bag I had made and either shipped (USPS parcel pickup from my porch) or some local organisations in Denver did a porch pickup from my house.
My face mask pattern PDF with 2 styles and instructions for either cotton straps or elastic is free to download! Click on this link to be redirected to my download website:
They turn out really cute even when you just use mismatched fabric scraps:

Hubby and me wore them whenever we were in public through 2020 & 2021 until fully vaccinated.
Within weeks I made it to my first goal of 1000 masks! On October 30th, 2020 I reached 2000 masks made! But I was eager to keep contributing to the Covid fight!
So I set a new goal 2100 total by the end of 2020!
A few times hubby Matt even helped me get fabric prepped on the weekends for the week ahead mask making!!!!!
He even made this one!
