A thank you quilt...

In 2012 I completed my teaching degree. The final unit to complete was a teaching internship 8 weeks. I taught grade 6 at Harmony PS and had an amazing mentor teacher Leanne O. So when it came to a thank you gift I figured nothing I could buy would be enough, so i quilted :)

I used the university logo in the center cut from one of my t shirts (she had graduated from the same uni) & school inspired prints.

 I also used printable fabric for the first time with this one and printed the thankyou message with school emblems as well as learning areas, science, SOSE, maths and English.
