The Castle at Veone

My mum is obsessed with castles and would love to build one on her 100 acre farm in NW, NSW, Australia if she won lotto. So the quilt that I have been working on for a few months is a castle quilt.

This is an embroidered castle I did for the center of the quilt and there are also going to be two patchwork castles as well, one a daytime scene:

and one a night-time scene which i haven't finished yet.

But I am having to take a hiatus from making this one as I have a quilt-like banner to make for the 6th graders at the school I have been working at.
