Thrifty Thursday

Wow today was the first chance i have had all week to go thrift shopping, but boy did I have fun :)

I have three loads of washing to do with all the fabric I bought today and I probably only spent about $25 on it all!

I got this sweet vintage ovenproof platter with fall leaves on it, that is now the platter in the centre of my table with gourds on it!

And I have been hunting for one of these for ages a sewing inspired decorative plate to hang in my sewing room:

And with Christmas just around the corner i couldn't resist this Santa cookie jar:

Adventurous Quilter

  1. You have plenty of fabric there, I do not often find good buys like that well done I say

  2. We all need to apply the plate rule. You were lucky finding all that fabric. Yes, quilting is expensive and time consuming. I do not do it, but love seeing what people like you create.

  3. Love that purple and yellow pansie print.

  4. You made quite a haul yesterday! The little plate for your sewing room is really cute! What kind of cookies are you going to put in your Santa cookie jar?

    1. Gingerbread cookies definitely!!!! :-)
