A close up

I couldn't resist sharing this close up of a quilt I finished earlier this week.

I made this quilt top at a quilt retreat about 3 years ago to practice lining up my points, it definitely was great practice with 650+ 2.5" squares.

I think I will make another one just lap sized with just 4 x 100 square blocks and a lighter background fabric. It's a great way to demolish my scrappy squares collection.

  1. The simplicity of the border highlights the large, colorful blocks. Great looking binding, too.
