Lots of sewing time!

I have lots of sewing time on my hands at the moment. I am still off work with an injured foot but it is recovered enough to use my sewing machine pedal.

I made this Pentagonal Star yesterday for Rainbow Scrap Challenge 2018 hosted by http://superscrappy.blogspot.com/p/rsc18.html

It looks great with all my others and I am beginning to decide on layout so I know how many to make. Here are the 8 blocks all together.

I made this lap quilt with Kona cotton in a turquoise shade and all the 2.5" scrappy squares leftover from making my Nifty Thrifty shirt quilt based on one of Bonnie Hunter's patterns http://quiltville.blogspot.com/

And I had a few browns and turquoises in my quick destash pile so I whipped up these two quilt tops that will make a great double sided quilt.

I pattern tested this weeks Adventurously Epic Sampler block too, it's a super easy one! It'll be available Sunday to download at https://adventurousquilter.yolasite.com/  so if you have ever wanted to try paper piecing this is a great beginners block and Crafty Gemini has a great Youtube tutorial for learning to paper piece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uaW26igygE

Don't forget to stop by on March first for the Orphan Block Odyssey Linky and link up any Instagram or blog post that features a project that used an orphan block.
