It's that time of the month again for me to show a project I made using an orphan block and to encourage you to use yours if you have any!
During May my challenge was to use this pink and purple pinwheel to make a charity baby quilt
I pulled all these fabrics scraps from my scrap bin and that chevron fabric from my destash pile the day I decided this block was next!
I started by adding an inner border that used up most of my 1.25" scrappy purple strips!
Then I put it on point framed in purple batik from my destash pile and added a final border of pink chevron fabric. I am happy how this one turned out! The photos don't do it justice.
