I made this quilt top today 💖😍
I made it to use this quilt block that I made in high school Textiles and Design classes.
I had been hoarding vintage florals I picked up at Wooden Spools - a local quilt shop specializing in reselling quilting cotton they buy from quilters. A year or so I've been planning this but today I was ready for this project.
It's not the prettiest quilt I'll ever make but it is true to the era and to most people would pass for a quilt made in the eighties 🤣
Hopefully I'll get it quilted and bound next week then it will hang on a quilt rack in my studio to remind me of my quilty origins 👌
