Preference: process or product?

Have you ever analysed why you make quilts? What makes you continue quilting?
For me it is the whole process, I love starting with an idea in my mind and seeing it eventually come to fruition! I love this complex process! Consider all the facets:

• design
• prep
• piece blocks
• complete top
• baste
• quilt 
• bind
• photograph
• blog/Instagram/Facebook

It truly soothes my soul!
