Today I spent time preparing to host my 3rd annual Advent Scrap Along!
This is a fun FREE sew along that helps is count down to Christmas in a fun quilty way.
I have two options this year, the basic HST sampler or the epic sampler featuring large blocks that utilize the daily block as a quadrant of the larger block.
I'm using scrappy solids and a Bella solids off white background.
I made block one today because I'm planning to sew ahead to inspire participants. I'm sewing the large quadrant block version.
I used 6" fabric squares to make 4 HSTs at once. I repeat that process 4 times to get the HSTs necessary and it turned out a 13.25" block. I want to make a new quilt for my bed.
