Disappearing 4 Patch

I haven't made a Disappearing 4 Patch quilt for several years but I do love them for using up scraps!
Today I pulled out all my scrappy 5" squares and decided to work with them, here's what I did:
  1.  Color sorted them to sift out all the fabulous tonals/blenders.
  2. Sorted the leftover busy prints into light, dark, colorful and medium tones.
  3. Began piecing four patches with one light, one dark, one medium and one colorful print in each, I've pieced 30 so far but plan on about 100.
  4. Began sub-cutting the four patches and sewing them back together to make Disappearing Four Patch blocks.

I love how these blocks turn out even with the scrappiest of fabrics.
I think this will be either a queen size or king size quilt eventually...
