Meditative Design

International moves are a LOT of work, sometimes I need to escape the monotony of unpacking, organizing and re-organizing that has come with resettling in Australia. Today I chose to escape to EQ8 and design a scrap quilt that has been in my head for a few days:

I called this quilt Wonky Scrap Adventures:

It consists of four main blocks.

I tried it in a few colorways and loved them ALL!

The blocks are foundation paper pieced.

So this design is not publication ready, but I can start using the pattern for scrap quilts!
