Yesterday I finished this scrappy quilt top! It actually took ages just to do the sashing today!
Do you ever actually do the quilty math to calculate how many pieces are in a quilt?
Quilt Stats:
- 156 nine patch quarters
 - 39 nine patches were subcut to create the quarters
 - 351 scrappy 3" squares went into those nine patches
 - 24 seams in each row to join blocks with sashing between them
 - 12 x 13 block quilt layout
 - About 788 pieces of fabric in the quilt top
 - Approximately 2 yards of background fabric (baby blue Painters Palette solid)
 - Quilt size 60" x 60"

I'll set this aside now and move on to other scrappy piecing.
