This quilt finish is quite heavy! Not too heavy, just heavy enough to be like a warm hug!
It's heavy because I used 3" squares which means the excess fabric folded over almost covers the back of the hexagon, so the quilt top is more like two layers of fabric.
Lots of fabric overlap. I love this technique. It allows me to use up my precut scrap hoard! It'll be years before I run out of precut scraps!
