New Fabric Friday

I committed myself to not buying any new fabric for my stash this year, so far it is going okay. I have two exceptions, thrift store fabrics and my favorite quilt shop Wooden Spools because they sell revived fabrics ie. they buy quilt shop quality fabrics from quilters clearing out their stash and sell it again at $5 per yard or less.

Whilst I was taking a class at Wooden Spools on Tuesday I got this new used book:

I quilt all my own quilts on my domestic machine but I only ever do meandering or straight line quilting and I really want to branch out in 2014 and try some other FMQ designs, so this book is perfect to help me with that goal.

And these new fabrics:

3 fat eighth bundles

A quilt inspired panel strip with two cushion cover sized pics

This selection of yardages I couldn't resist LOVE those purples

And I am always collecting eye spy fabrics, this is what I found this time:

A fat 1/4 of this wonderful fairyland

A fat 1/8 of this fairyland

And some fat 1/4s of dogs/cats and frogs
This is my eye spy collection so far, probably about 80 different prints at least. The top basket is the smaller pieces either scraps (on the left) or fat 1/4 sized on the right. And in the bottom basket the pile on the left is yardage, some up to 3 yards, some barely a yard.
