Sewing class fun!

I did a class today at Wooden Spools my favorite Denver quilt shop.

In this class you get to make this great tote bag; they supply the Wooden Spools embroidered logo and you can use whatever fabrics and design the rest of the piecing layout yourself, so each bag is very  individual. The class cost $50 for five hours which was enough for me to complete the bag. Once the bag is made, if you use it when shopping at Wooden Spools in the future you get 10% off your purchases. I already used that bag and saved over $5 today before i left for home, so I have several cute new fabrics to show off some time in another post.

I will post some more pics of the bag tomorrow, it is a bit dark for pics now that I have unpacked everything.

  1. this looks like a most useful bag for when shopping for fabric etc
