antique store bargain!

I got this little baby for only $70 last month:

She is a 1918 Singer 99k and was in almost immaculate condition, the bentwood box just needed a ten minute touch up to restore its sheen and re-stain the scuffs.

I adore her! I named her Maisy.

  2. You got a real deal on this machine. They sell around here much more. I do not sew, but I am aware of the expense and time involved. I love quilts, but never made one.

    1. Yes LV the antique Singers sell for more around here usually too but these sellers are oblivious to their potential worth, so I was indeed lucky!

  3. I'm sure you'll love her. I have the same machine handed down to me by my Mum, I called her Ellen after my Grandma who first bought her. Enjoy :D
