Hectic Here

Life has been hectic for me here in Denver lately. My little antique mall booth is going well so that takes up about 2 days per week of my time; one day spent finding inventory in local thrift stores and one day washing, pricing and stocking the booth.

And all the un-priced inventory ends up in my sewing room, so it's a little messy of late!

But today I did get the room organized enough to sew top hems and handles on 48 bags for the Green Bag Lady Project.

However one of these days I'd really like to get organized so I can get some of my sewing done! This pattern I designed early this year hasn't even gotten to the test sewing phase yet.

Not to mention I have some buttons to sew on a jacket that has been sitting here waiting for buttons for a few months!

  1. I've been wondering what you are up to!! You little shop has really taken off! My youngest daughter has begun to collect pyrex and I only wish I could shop in your booth for her. How much fun you are having! I wish I knew how to paper piece as I would totally make this block as it reminds me of Jackson. (Paper Piecing is coming up this next Tuesday at my linky....you'll have to stop by and share all your PP fun!)

  2. Oh my! That's where you've been. I've not sewn a single bag. I told myself that I couldn't sew until I found our house phone and or scales. I'm still looking for them!
