Retreat

Last weekend i attended a quilt retreat with about 25 women from the quilt club i attend.
I went fabric shopping at my favorite Denver fabric shop during the weekend with a quilt club friend

I took my singer 301 along and spent most of my time sewing with scraps i had precut and charm squares.

I will photograph some finished tops soon to show you all what i achieved.

  1. what fun to go on a retreat. How is the sewing room coming along, hope you hare some photos soon of your progress with it and where you have put all your machines etc. The dogs I am sure are enjoying their garden.

    1. Not much progress in the sewing room Margaret. I am having a hysterectomy on November 2 so I'm madly trying to get the rest of the house organized because I'll be unable to lift or do anything strenuous for 8 to 12 weeks. And were still bringing boxes of stuff in daily from our old place. So the sewing room is on the back burner for now. Hopefully in December or January i can finish it up with some help from my hubby to build some Ikea furniture on those snowy weekends!
