Binding

The last few days have been a bind-a-thon!

Hubby has been out of town for almost two weeks so I've had an opportunity to totally immerse myself in my sewing studio to-do list! So after a busy first week, I had 5 quilts ready for binding this past weekend:

I've shared the last few days on the blog about most of those quilt finishes but this was the last one a small scrappy nine patch:

I also spent hours joining scrappy strips and pressing them folded in half to make scrappy bindings for future scrap quilts.
Huge Scrappy Binding Roll
This is a great way to use up odds and ends of leftover fabrics and fabrics that you don't love. It's so great when you finish a scrap quilt and don't have to make a binding from scratch! I used scrappy bindings rolls like this for 4  of the six quilts I've finished this past week. It felt fantastic to get all that binding done!

So whilst hubby was away I finished these 6 quilts:

3 were UFOs and the other 3 were quick quilts I whipped up using improv scrappy blocks I had already made.
