The castle quilt continued

I spent a couple of hours this morning on the castle quilt for my mum, it is coming together slowly.

I finally did the 'castle by night' block, it turned out better than the previous block I did which was the castle by day.


I then pieced them all together into a strip with the embroidered castle in the middle now I have to do some patchwork border work.

The patchwork around the edges will be in greys and blacks to match the stonework of the castles.

But that was enough for one day, so I will do some more tomorrow.
