I have a goal for January and February to only work on WIPs and UFOs. That goal is helping me to clear the clutter and finally complete projects that I love but that somehow slipped down my list of priorities. So the last few days I have worked on my Americana quilt top:

And I also broke my promise \goal and started a new project!!! But it isn't every week that Denver makes it to the Superbowl so this quick project was a must for this week, so hubby can cuddle up on the couch for the Superbowl with a new broncos quilt! I had bought a few remnant pieces of Broncos fabric at Walmart in 2013 then added a couple more pieces late last week (also from the remnant bin & my only fabric purchases for 2014 so far) to ensure I had enough to make a decent size lap quilt. But despite buying a few dollars worth of fabric for this from the remnant bin, most of this fabric was stash fabric, so I am at least sticking to my commitment to use stash fabrics in 2014! And I will be back to WIPs and UFOs as soon as it is completed!

So I have two tops to quilt later this week. They will both be quick stitch in the ditch quilted not FMQ'd, so I should have them done by the weekend.
