Charity Quilt Finish

I worked on this charity quilt project today and was happy with how it turned out.

I use the strip QAYG method on this quilt it is about 35" x 45"

The strips were 2.5" wide and varying lengths but I do an extra wide seam allowance on this type of quilt because there is no reinforcement quilting. When you sew the strips on they are sewn through the batting and backing layers at the same time. It's a one stitch wonder. So easy and quick.

I don't know what charity the quilt will go to yet, we make quilts from donated fabric for the quilt club to donate in bulk once in a while, but the NICU and a this http://www.almosthomeonline.org/ shelter have received quilts from the club recently.
