Quilt Retreat

I am currently enjoying the CRQC spring quilt retreat! Yahoo

I've been here 36hrs and have sewn top hems and handles on 81 bags for the Green Bag Lady project and then moved on to paper piecing 36 blocks to make a lap quilt. I have sewn 18 of the blocks so far and begun to join them together in sets of four to see the pattern emerging. This is a link to the blog post about the pattern design phase of the project I am working on: http://adventurousquilter.blogspot.com/2015/02/3-color-pp-quilt-design.html

This weekend I am sewing on my black Singer 301A

  1. So glad that you had a great time at your quilt retreat. I've been out of bed about 2 hrs now but am thinking about crawling back in. Sorry I missed you folks today. I tried to do a little sewing, but all 3 times I started, the top thread broke! Time to go lay down.
