UFO Progress

This year I am participating in the http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/how-to-quilt/finishing/2016-ufo-challenge

And I am a little behind! My February task was to start doing something with the 20 vintage dresden plate quilt blocks that I bought in an antique mall 2 years ago. Because these are irreplaceable antiques I wanted to try doing a cushion cover with one block to see if I even like my idea of 30s print hexagon centers and pastel background. Here is how it turned out:

Although I do like the hexagon center I have decided to go with an off white background fabric for the quilt and use pastel sashing when I eventually make the quilt. But that is a task for another time because it is now March and my next task is to restart Tula Pink's city sampler at block 50. We'll see if I get to that this month!
